A Mexican destination wedding by Brooke Fitts

Brooke shot this gorgeous little number a couple of months ago in Riviera Maya, Mexico.  Clearly a lot of sun, sand and tequila was involved.  Jealous!!  To see more from this wedding go here. Congrats Candice and will!  xo

Adam & Dave’s wedding featured on 100LayerCake!

My friend Adam (of Adam & Co) was married last fall at the Crane Estate in MA.  My other friend and photographer of the Wedding Collective,  Josh Goleman was there to photograph it.  Two insanely talented people created and captured one insanely beautiful wedding which was featured on 100LayerCake this week.  This is just a SMALL handful of images from the day.  To see the complete wedding you can see it here. Thank you to 100 LC and congratulations to Adam + Dave!

A Southampton Wedding by Shannen Norman

I love the way Shannen described this wedding as “incredibly classy but far from stuffy”. It truly does look like a relaxed but beautifully and thoughtfully designed wedding thrown by two beautiful and relaxed people.  Thanks to Jeremy and Alexandra for letting us be a part of their big day!

Brooke featured in NY Magazine Weddings Issue!

For you brides to be out there, maybe you’ve already come across the NY Magazine Weddings issue?  If so, there may have a been a familiar name in there?  Yep, our lady Brooke Fitts (from Brookelyn Photography) received some well deserved accolades this year.  She was featured in their “Ask the Experts” section.  Not bad, eh?  High five Brooke!

A Brooklyn wedding by Brookelyn Photography

Brooke Fitts of Brookelyn Photography photographed this gorgeous wedding at the Palm House at the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens last fall.  Style Me Pretty was kind enough to do a beautiful post for it which you can read here.  Best wishes to Lindsey & Steve!

This is something I’ve been meaning to share with you for quite some time. Needless to say it makes me rather happy that it’s finally made its appearance!  Drew and Ben, from The Cana Family, made this perfect little wedding movie last summer in San Luis Obispo, CA.  For those of you who don’t know, the guys not only film their movies but Drew also writes an original score for each one.  If that’s not enough to blow your mind, they also edit (on the day of) a preview movie and play it over a projector at the reception.  Without fail, when that puppy ends there isn’t a dry eye in the house.  Oh how I wish they could have made a movie for my wedding!  Anyway, here’s a bit about the wedding first hand from the guys themselves.  Enjoy!

“We joined these wonderful folks at the Flying Caballos Ranch here in San Luis Obispo. Not only was it a stellar day, but this couple had the sweetest style. Their excitement to get married was pouring out of them and it was really sweet to witness. They had collected all this old vintage furniture and centerpieces over the last year for their wedding giving it such good vibes. Both of them poured so much into this wedding and it was sweet to see it all come together on their day. Angel Swanson, our dear friend, coordinated the event and put together an amazing day for everyone.”

Emily + Paul’s countryside wedding by Josh Goleman

It makes me so incredibly happy to share this special gem of a wedding with you.  Photographed by their good friend Josh Goleman, Emily and Paul got married in the sweetest way possible- with their friends and family, surrounded by the beauty of Wisconsin, in a truly homespun style.  The floral arrangements, the hair, even the bride’s wedding ring- everything was made with care and love by her best ladies.  I’ve had the pleasure of getting to know Emily and Paul a little bit as well as their wonderful friends.  I can tell you first hand, they’re the real deal and they are as sweet and rad as they look. Congratulations to you both!  xo

Oh, and PS- the ladies from Once Wed were kind enough do a blog posting about it today :)  Have a look here.  Thank you Emily!
