Josh Goleman & Murphy Munday tie the knot!

Actually, Josh got married over Labor Day weekend this past year but this post coincides with the addition of a new photographer to the Collective, Gary Ashley! A long time friend of Josh’s, he did such an amazing job we decided to bring him on board.

I was lucky enough to attend the wedding myself and I can tell you it was simply a blast. To host the festivities Josh and his lovely wife Murphy chose a breathtakingly beautiful spot on the water in Rockport, Maine. Their friends pitched in every step of the way including buying flowers at the farmer’s market to create the floral arrangements, hanging the lights, and creating the circle of rocks for the ceremony. Lobster rolls were served at the reception (a huge hit) and they invited the Hog Slop String Band, who drove all the way from Nashville, to provide the evening’s entertainment. The band lead a square dance and a two step which turned into a bona fide hootenanny on the beach late into the evening. With the bonfire keeping us warm there wasn’t a face in the crowd that didn’t have a huge smile on their face. Good times indeed.
