A foodie’s dream wedding come true.
This has to be one of my favorite weddings from 2012. And why, do you ask? Well… other than the fact that Peter and Robert were able to celebrate their 20+ year relationship by getting married (as if that’s not enough!), they hired the crazy talented caterers Fire Roasted Catering (look them up, you’re going to want these guys in your rolodex if they aren’t already). What a perfect vision for a fall wedding… autumnal air, leaves falling, pumpkin soup, and a rib roast on an open fire (not to mention the fig, cured meats and cheese plate, house made pâté and roast beef crostini…can you tell I’m obsessed?). The wedding took place on a private estate in Connecticut and the whole affair was designed by the lovely Kristie Bishop of The KB Event. They ate, they drank, they laughed and they danced well into the night to jazz. I wish they’d do it all over again and have me as a guest!
